This annual event held in Washington, D.C. is the largest national conference of the animal advocacy movement.

TAFA 2009 was a great success; the biggest and best to date! Over 1000 people joined came together from July 24-27 in Arlington, VA for the premier conference of the animal advocacy movement. TAFA delivered four days of education, networking, and entertainment that included 32 training workshops, the screening of three amazing documentary films, our biggest exhibit hall ever, and a gourmet vegan banquet dinner featuring special guests Ginnifer Goodwin, Nellie McKay, and U.S. Representatives John Conyers and Jim Moran. TAFA closed with hundreds gathering on Capitol Hill to meet with their legislators to advocate for animals.
